As you’re getting ready for your visit to our 2018 Cherry Cup tournament, we would like to share with you some information in order for all of you to be prepared and make your weekend a pleasant one. Please share this information with all participants on your team.

Kids Zone: Our tournament is an AYSO event, therefore we follow closely and enforce all AYSO mandates, including a zero tolerance towards referee and volunteer abuse, as well as a no dog/pet policy. Remember, everything that we do is for the kids and their well-being.

Weather: The weather in Beaumont is quite pleasant but it can also be unpredictable. Based on the current forecast, it is supposed to be a wonderful weekend. We’re expecting cooler mornings and evenings, and comfortable during the day with no rain in sight. We’ll have a low temperature of 44° and high of 84°. So make sure you bring warm clothing and short sleeves. Also, don’t forget the sunblock.

Parking: We offer free parking at the park, but spots are limited. You can also park outside of the park and we have additional parking at the high school, located at the north west side of the park, which is within walking distance. A map is available at the bottom left of the fields map (available for download here.)

RV parking is not permitted at the park (or outside). Daily RV parking is allowed at the high school, but if you’re considering overnight parking, we recommend Oak Valley RV Park (bcvparks.com) you will need to contact them and make a reservation. Keep in mind that this park is not within walking distance.

BBQ’ing and grilling: Due to limited space and anticipated number of visitors, this is not permitted at the park or parking lot. However, we’ll have a great variety of food vendors for you.

Traffic: Also, keep in mind that the Coachella festival is ongoing and traffic on the I10 is expected to be heavy, so plan accordingly before heading over.

Did we forget anything? Please contact us with any additional questions that you might have and we’ll be happy to reply.

We look forward to being your hosts.

Best regards,

The Cherry Cup staff.
